Victoria Sanderson: Hello! I am Victoria Sanderson, and I am a reporter for the Robesonian Newspaper in Lumberton, North Carolina. I graduated from High Point University with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism and a minor in health education. Over the past two years, I have worked in Robeson County to cover both the rich cultural stories at the heart of the community and the practical governmental affairs of multiple towns and the county’s school board. Throughout my time at The Robesonian, I have learned a lot about the community around me. Robeson County is full of musicians, sculptors, chefs and fabric artists, even if the country roads leading into town would give the impression that there shouldn’t be much happening. My experience and education have prepared me to take on any challenges that come my way, and I am excited to keep learning and growing as I continue on my life’s journey!
